1 Who we are

LegalTranscribie provides online ordering, secure file handling, and human transcription of audio and video recordings for legal and professional use. References to “LegalTranscribie,” “we,” “us,” or “our” mean the operator of the Service. References to “you” or “Customer” mean the individual or organization using the Service.

2 Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate registration information and keeping it current
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account

Notify us promptly at support@legaltranscribie.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

3 Orders and transcription services

When you submit a recording for transcription:

• You represent that you have the legal right to upload the file and to request transcription of its contents
• You will provide accurate order details, including case name, format preferences, and turnaround selection
• Quoted prices are based on file duration and options shown at checkout; you must review and accept the quote before payment
• Turnaround times are estimates; we will use commercially reasonable efforts to meet the delivery window you select

Transcripts are produced by human transcribers and reviewed for quality. While we target high accuracy, you are responsible for reviewing delivered work before relying on it in legal, business, or court proceedings.

4 Payment and refunds

Payment is required before transcription work begins unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing. Prices are shown in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise. You authorize us and our payment processor to charge your selected payment method for the order total.

If you are dissatisfied with a delivered transcript, you may request a revision through your account where that feature is available. Refunds, if any, are issued at our discretion for material service failures and do not apply to issues caused by poor audio quality, incomplete uploads, or inaccurate order instructions provided by you.

5 Confidentiality and your content

You retain ownership of recordings, transcripts, and other materials you upload or receive through the Service (“Customer Content”). You grant LegalTranscribie a limited license to host, process, transmit, and transcribe Customer Content solely to provide the Service.

We treat Customer Content as confidential and restrict access to personnel and transcribers who need it to perform your order. You are responsible for ensuring that uploads do not violate applicable law, court orders, protective orders, or third-party rights.

6 Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload malware, unlawful content, or material you do not have permission to share
• Use the Service to harass, defame, or infringe intellectual property or privacy rights
• Attempt to bypass security, access another user’s account, or scrape the Service without permission
• Resell or commercially exploit the Service except as expressly permitted

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or conduct that poses risk to users, transcribers, or the Service.

7 Intellectual property

LegalTranscribie owns the Service, including its software, branding, and documentation, except for Customer Content. Delivered transcripts are provided for your use subject to these Terms and any applicable order details.

LegalTranscribie is a transcription service provider, not a law firm. We do not provide legal advice.

9 Limitation of liability

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless LegalTranscribie and its personnel from claims arising out of your Customer Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

11 Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms or if required for legal, security, or operational reasons. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

12 Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13 Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction provide otherwise.
